Everything is moving forward with purchasing our home! We had the home inspection on Tuesday and aside from a few drainage issues that will need to be addressed once we move in, everything looks pretty good. The inspector was very thorough, so we feel pretty confident the house is in pretty good shape. We did see a Black Widow spider during the inspection. Scary!!! The spider will definitely have to move out. We're signing all our loan paperwork which is kind-of intimidating, but we feel like we're getting a good house. More than that, we feel like we're getting the right house, which is the most important thing.
My pregnancy is moving along as well. I am now 12 weeks! I'm starting to feel much better. After suffering from a bad cold last week (of which I still have some residual coughing), I'm actually starting to feel much better. I never threw up (thankfully), and the nausea that I did have is now gone. I have a little bit of my energy back, although I'm afraid to overdo it in the morning because my job has been a lot more physically demanding lately. If I overdo it before I go to work, by the time I get home I'm just ready to fall over into bed. Then of course I have to make dinner ... Ahhh, a woman's work is never done.
Next week I'm going to New York for a whole week! I leave on Tuesday the 6th and come back on Monday the 12th. I'm SO excited. I wish that Ben could come with me, but he can't really take the time off work right now. We're hoping to go to Utah right before Christmas to celebrate his grandmother's 100th birthday, so he needs to save his vacation. So, I'll be going alone, but I won't be alone! My sister is also coming with her daughter so we'll be having so much fun with the girls!
