Getting closer ...

I surely don't spend enough time blogging and updating everyone. Things have been going smoothly for the last couple of weeks. I guess the biggest news is that I have my ring! It is so beautiful and I am so happy to have something more comfortable to wear. That may sound like a strange adjective, "comfortable", but anyone who has worn a ring from Wal-Mart or some similar cheap costime jewelry knows that once the plastic wears out a little bit it starts to get rough! We got our wedding rings too. We ordered them online and they came today. They are just plain bands but it's one step closer to the big day and so it's exciting to have the wedding rings! After a little snag with ordering the announcements they are on the way. We've been attaching labels to envelopes tonight and finalizing address lists. I didn't realize, however, when I went to the post office today that you can't buy more than 6 books of stamps with one credit card in the same day. Well, I only use one credit card right now so I'll have to go back tomorrow and get 6 more books of stamps. I just don't want to have to wait in line even if it means getting them all at once.

In related news, I'm moving into our new apartment in a week and a half. THAT will be so crazy! We're going to try to move some of my stuff in this week and next week and the final big move will be on June 28th. We leave for NY on the 8th or 9th of July. We weren't going to leave until the 9th but we're thinking we might leave on the evening of the 8th.

Anyway, we're just really excited and looking forward to seeing everyone that can come to NY! If you can't come to NY, hopefully you can make it to the reception in GA.
