... and a garden!! My extremely service-minded father-in-law took out some wretched spiny bushes for me and tilled this spot right behind my back porch! I had my soil tested, added lime and fertilizer per the recommendations, planned my garden using www.smartgardener.com, and bought some plants and a few seeds. It took me a few hours on Saturday to put in, but it wasn't bad. So, voila! Here it is! I have high hopes for this garden so it had better not let me down! Well, I have high hopes for part of the garden, anyway. I knew I was getting a little experimental with the corn and the watermelon, but, we'll just see how it turns out. You never know until you try!

Hooray! Gardens are so fun! I'm looking forward to my fresh veggies this summer, as well. And a free swingset?! Nice!
