Happy Birthday, Lydia!

I cannot believe my little girl is two.  TWO!! Where has the time gone?  It seems like just yesterday I was cradling her in my arms and snuggling with her.  And while she is still sweet and (mostly) gentle, you can forget the snuggling.  I have come to understand why then call them the "Terrible Twos".  Suddenly the answer to absolutely EVERYTHING I suggest has become an emphatic "NO!".

We decided to celebrate Lydia's birthday with our family yesterday, Sunday.  My mom is in town so we had her, my in-laws, and my brother's family over for dinner and cake. Lydia did NOT like the idea of blowing out the candle, as you will see.  She was actually frightened of it.  I guess that's probably because we have a gas stove and I am constantly saying, "don't touch!", and "hot!".  So, she got a little help from her cousin with blowing out the candle.
