Lydia has a couple of new friends. The first is a Minnie Mouse plush toy that Ben's boss and his wife brought back from Disney World last week. It has little bells inside so it makes a fun jingly noise when we shake it! She loves how soft it is.
Lydia's other new friend is Kisya. I noticed yesterday that Lydia was staring at the cat, just following her with her eyes wherever she moved. I called the cat over and showed Lydia how we pet the cat, and she was so excited about it that she giggled. The cat is really very sweet and gentle which is good. We haven't gotten to tail pulling yet though ...
No, for now we're just trying to eat the cat's tail.

What a cute little smile! And horray for new friends! I had two little stuffed animals in Marins crib when she was a baby and she sleeps with them both still, she makes sure they are with her for nap/bedtime. And just wait for the tail pulling, it's coming, although, if you redirect and correct it enough times, she will stop. Marin loves to try and pick Sadie up to cuddle her and give her kisses, you can imagine how any cat would like that.
That's so funny. When we were at Disney World, we bought a plush Winnie the Pooh that is EXACTLY like that Minnie Mouse. They had several different classic Disney characters. They're really soft and cuddly, pastel colored and I love the little jingly ball inside too! I can't believe how quickly she is growing! She looks so big now!
