Then, a few days after my dad left, I went and picked up my BEST FRIEND Kylene who was in town from Washington for a conference. She decided to ditch the last few days of the conference and spend time with me and Lydia. We had a blast touring World of Coke, visiting Stone Mountain, making donuts, and in general, just hanging out together. It had been 2 years since we had seen each other. I am so sad that we live on complete opposite corners of the county.

House guests
We've had a couple of house guests in the past couple of weeks! My dad was here over Memorial Day weekend because we had Lydia's baby blessing at church on the 30th. He had a LOT of fun hanging out with his newest granddaughter, and we had fun with him! On Memorial Day, my brother gilled steak and hot dogs and we did nothing but eat and chat all day. The food was amazing and the company was even better.

Lydia is so cute! I'm glad she wa able to wear that dress for her blessing....Marin wore it, and it would be so funny if each grandchild had their turn in it!
It was a blast. Now I need to get on the blog wagon and get caught up too.
